Custom CSS & JS
Daemun supports adding your own custom CSS and JavaScript. Please do so at your own risk. Custom JavaScript runs in the browser and should be treated as trusted code.
To add custom CSS, edit the custom.css file under your config directory. For
JavaScript, edit custom.js in the same directory.
/app/config/custom.css/app/config/custom.jsDaemun loads them through:
/api/config/custom.css/api/config/custom.jsThose API paths work in both the default Node/Hono image and the optional nginx image.
You can also set a specific id for a service or bookmark to target with your custom css or javascript, e.g.
Service: id: myserviceid icon: icon.png ...Custom Assets
Section titled “Custom Assets”Custom CSS or JavaScript can reference static assets under /app/public. Mount
the assets into a public subdirectory:
volumes: - /path/to/images:/app/public/images:ro - /path/to/icons:/app/public/icons:roThen reference them with absolute paths:
body { background-image: url("/images/background.png");}Service: icon: /icons/service.png
